Universal Storage Group is seeking a regional operations leader to manage a Northeast portfolio of self storage facilities. You will own budgets, review cash flow, and serve as the owner’s trusted partner, delivering clear performance reporting and strategic guidance.

You will hire, coach and develop store managers, audit sites and leases, and ensure adherence to policies. Strong Excel skills and experience with property management software are essential.

Formación

• Multi-site or area-level leadership in self storage, property management, or multi-unit retail/hospitality.
• Strong financial fluency; ability to read P&Ls and cash flow statements and act on insights.
• Experience with budgeting, marketing, and customer service.
• Owner- and client-facing presence; confident presenting results and handling tough conversations.
• Proficient with Excel and quick to learn property management software.
• Sound judgment when processes aren't standardized; problem-solver mindset.
• Integrity and discretion with confidential owner and company information.
• High school diploma; degree in accounting/finance a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Drive financial results by building budgets, reviewing cash flow and explaining variances.
• Partner with owners as primary liaison; lead owner meetings and reporting.
• Lead and develop store managers; recruit, coach and evaluate; be a certified trainer.
• Audit sites, leases and records; ensure policy compliance across the portfolio.
• Oversee weekly invoicing and expense management; monitor marketing goals.
• Conduct site visits for curb appeal, unit condition and vendor work.
• Talent management in partnership with HR: onboarding and performance reviews.
