Job summary

Girlstart in Dallas seeks an NTX Program Coordinator to lead local delivery of STEM programs across Greater Dallas, collaborating with internal teams and partners, and building relationships with school administrators, teachers, parents, donors, and STEM CREW to support organizational goals.

The role oversees STEM CREW recruitment and payroll, coordinates program logistics, manages registrations and communications, represents Girlstart at events, and helps expand Girlstart's presence in North

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience in youth programming or informal STEM education
• Minimum two years of experience and proven success in planning and implementing quality programming for youth
• Ability to supervise, motivate, train, and coach college age youth
• Willingness to learn HR systems and programs in order to hire and onboard program staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive, friendly, flexible and outgoing
• Effective organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Self-motivated with the ability to work as a team player and foster cooperative work
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and deliverables
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and a commitment to the mission of Girlstart
• Reliable, dependable, and timely
• Knowledge of educational learning standards and experience creating youth serving curriculum preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead STEM CREW program leader management including hiring, training, and supervision
• Review and approve biweekly payroll for STEM CREW
• Maintain regular communication and feedback with STEM CREW
• Organize NTX area programming logistics and day-to-day implementation
• Maintain participant registration forms and parent communications
• Facilitate relationships between partners, STEM CREW, and Girlstart
• Oversee North Texas operations including office, supplies, supervision, and mail
• Lead Community STEM programming and Girls in STEM Conference
• Supervise and deliver in-person programming (after-school clubs, camps, events)
• Represent Girlstart at Dallas area events and recruitment/volunteer fairs
• Expand presence by outreach to new school districts and partners
• Consult with Director of Programs and Chief Program Officer on program facilitation and expansion
• Engage with fundraising efforts to secure gifts
• Represent Dallas presence in donor/funder meetings
• Support strategic plan goals and cross-team collaboration
• Assist with various projects and tasks to support operations
• Other duties as assigned
