Job summary

Girlstart is seeking a MA Program Coordinator to lead local implementation of our STEM programs across Massachusetts. You will collaborate with internal teams and local partners, building strong relationships with school leaders, teachers, parents, donors, and STEM CREW to support organizational goals.

You will manage STEM CREW staffing, oversee logistics, and maintain communications with participants and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience in youth programming or informal STEM education (required).
• Minimum two years of experience planning and implementing quality programming for youth.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, train, and coach college-age youth.
• Willingness to learn HR systems to hire/onboard staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, friendly, flexible and outgoing.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Reliable, timely, and capable of meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Massachusetts program implementation across Girlstart programs.
• Hire, train, and supervise STEM CREW staff; approve biweekly payroll.
• Maintain participant registration, parent communications, attendance, surveys, and photos.
• Organize Massachusetts area programming logistics and day-to-day execution.
• Foster relationships with school districts, partners, STEM CREW, and Girlstart.
• Deliver and supervise in-person programming including after-school clubs and camps.
• Represent Girlstart at MA events and recruit volunteers as needed.
• Support program expansion through outreach to new districts and partners.
