Job summary

8Fleet Inc. is seeking a Regional General Manager, North, anchored in Chicago to lead operations and growth across the North region. You will launch new markets, build and manage a team of Market Managers, and align regional execution with company strategy.

The role requires strategic oversight and hands-on problem solving in a fast-moving rideshare/logistics setting; travel across the region and collaboration with founders and executives are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of operations management experience across multiple sites or markets.
• 4+ years of experience supervising managers and developing leaders.
• Experience launching new markets or sites.
• Data-driven with strong analytical and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional launches and pre-launch planning for new markets.
• Hire, coach, and develop Market Managers across the region.
• Partner with RGMs to share best practices and align priorities.
• Own regional KPIs and drive profitability and efficiency.
• Oversee fleet operations including scheduling, dispatch, and maintenance.
• Ensure regional compliance and safety across markets.
