8Fleet Inc. in Chicago seeks a Market Manager to lead local operations for our fast-growing rideshare fleet. You will own end-to-end operations, strategic planning, data oversight, and day-to-day management to drive revenue and safety.

We value a founder's mindset, hands-on leadership, and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced startup environment. A BA/BS is required; MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus, plus prior ridesharing experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operations management, business consulting, or related experience.
• 2+ years of people management experience, leading teams with focus and detail.
• BA/BS degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus.
• Data-driven mindset with strong business judgment and execution?.

Responsabilités

• Fleet Growth & Management: own metrics to maximize revenue and profit; oversee day-to-day fleet operations; manage vehicle maintenance and safety; recruit and retain drivers.
• Financial Performance: analyze fleet data to improve profitability and efficiency; monitor KPIs and progress toward goals.
• Driver Support & Training: provide ongoing training on best practices, safety, and customer service; foster a supportive environment.
• Compliance & Safety: ensure regulatory compliance and conduct safety audits with corrective actions.
