8Fleet, a rapidly growing LA-based tech and logistics startup, is hiring a Regional General Manager, North anchored in Chicago. You will own the launch playbook, drive market entry, and align regional execution with the founders' strategy.

This builder role requires scaling operations across multiple markets, hiring and leading Market Managers, and delivering strong financial and customer outcomes. Rideshare or mobility platform experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of operations management or related experience managing multi-site or multi-market operations.
• Experience managing managers (not just individual contributors).
• Experience launching new markets, sites, or business lines.
• Data-driven mindset with strong business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own the launch playbook and execution for new markets across the North region.
• Lead, hire, and develop a team of Market Managers; set goals and coach performance.
• Oversee regional KPIs and profitability; manage driver supply and scheduling.
• Coordinate cross-regional best practices and align with executive strategy.
• Ensure compliance and safety standards across all markets in the region.
