Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Charlotte, NC, seeks a processes and analytics professional to support US import/export operations and FTZ management within the Global OFC Supply Chain. This role emphasizes data-driven decision making and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize duties and costs while maintaining compliance.

You will partner with NA plants, Finance, Trade Compliance and 3rd party FTZ partners to meet business needs, improve processes, and provide visibility into spend

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Trade from accredited university program.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or trade related roles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain, logistics and trade.
• Demonstrated knowledge of import/export processes, roles, systems and accounting.
• Operations focused; transactional based knowledge and experience.
• Project management experience.
• Data analysis and visualization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage US import/export data for spend visibility and management of applicable duties, tariffs and fees.
• Act as NA OFC FTZ service providers coordinating for FTZ operations and trade compliance.
• Coordinate US duty drawback activities; support cost recovery and cash flow.
• Oversee US import entries; collaborate with NA Trade Compliance for corrections.
• Provide import/export analytical support for OFC Mexico operations and US-Mexico flow.
• Ensure alignment with NA OFC FTZ operations and optimize non-FTZ ware flow.
• Provide non-standard import/export support to NA OFC operations with Finance.
• Develop communications and metrics for NA OFC import/export performance.
