Job summary

Corning Incorporated, a global leader in glass, ceramic, and materials science, seeks an Americas Sr. Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end warehousing, transportation, trade compliance, and inventory strategies across the Americas.

This role partners with Global Logistics to align regional needs with corporate goals and to drive cost, service, and risk performance. The successful candidate will build high-performing teams, manage budgets and projects, and push continuous improvement through data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehousing, or related operations leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading regional or multi-country logistics operations in a complex business environment.
• Strong experience in warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and trade compliance.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing logistics strategies aligned with business and commercial objectives.
• Experience managing teams through direct leadership and/or through managers and supervisors.
• Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating with global or centralized logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams across end-to-end warehousing, transportation, trade compliance, and logistics across the region.
• Develop and execute logistics and inventory strategies that support business goals.
• Connect business unit needs with global logistics services and solutions.
• Work with business leaders to create logistics plans that meet customer and operational needs.
• Design and improve supply chain and logistics networks for better service, cost, and risk management.
• Track and communicate key performance metrics to internal teams and external partners.
• Manage logistics projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Set, interpret, and improve logistics policies, procedures, systems, and operating standards, including trade compliance regulations.
• Support and guide supervisors and staff to solve operational and technical problems.
