Job summary

Cynosure, LLC. is seeking a Director, Supply Chain Planning – North America to lead the NA Planning organization, aligning demand, supply, purchasing, and inventory strategy.

You will drive cross-functional alignment and establish a disciplined S&OP cadence across Commercial, Service, Finance, and Manufacturing. The role evolves to broader regional responsibilities as the organization matures, with collaboration across Global Supply Chain and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven supply chain leadership across planning, logistics, inventory, fulfillment, and cross-border operations.
• Strong SAP S/4 or comparable ERP experience, with the ability to translate data into action.
• Strong cross-functional leadership in a complex global matrix organization.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to influence and present to executive leadership.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the North America supply planning and master planning process.
• Translate the consensus demand plan into supply requirements by product, location, and time period.
• Identify supply constraints, capacity gaps, material risks, and potential customer-service impacts.
• Develop supply scenarios and mitigation plans in collaboration with Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and Procurement.
• Partner with Manufacturing plants and other global supply organizations to align production capacity, supply allocation, and replenishment requirements.
• Establish governance for excess inventory and inventory disposition decisions.
• Drive planning process improvements, standardization, and SAP/MRP tool usage.
