Job summary

Treehouse Partners is assisting an established athletic apparel brand in Los Angeles, seeking a Director of North America Retail Operations to drive operational excellence across NA stores and shape the global retail operating model. The role is primarily in-person in Beverly Hills, with travel across North America.

You will lead a hands-on, high-performance team, partner with Logistics, Loss Prevention, Planning, Merchandising, Technology, and field leadership, and own readiness for new store

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retail operations, with multi-region or national scale.
• Experience at high-volume, high-growth retailers.
• Proven ability to design and execute scalable store operations.
• Hands-on field leadership with regular store visits.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the greater Los Angeles area; travel ~1 week/month.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop and evolve the North America retail operating model for efficiency and scalability.
• Plan and roll out new initiatives across North America with full operationalization.
• Use NA as test bed; provide feedback to inform global frameworks.
• Drive daily operational excellence and improve store performance.
• Spend time in stores to build hands-on expertise.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Loss Prevention, Planning, Merchandising, Technology, and field leadership.
• Oversee readiness for new store openings in North America.
• Monitor KPIs: inventory accuracy, shrink, replenishment, omnichannel fulfillment.
• Lead workforce management alignment with operating model.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
