Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of purchasing or strategic sourcing experience in industrial manufacturing, custom machinery, automation, or related technical industries.
• Established supplier network and sourcing experience within electrical components and industrial equipment market.

Responsibilities

• Manage the international sourcing and procurement of electrical assemblies and components for custom-engineered equipment.
• Lead supplier selection, supplier development, and strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Partner with electrical/mechanical engineering and operations teams to optimize material groups and procurement strategies.
• Oversee the complete purchasing cycle, including RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, purchase orders, and contract management.
• Analyze supplier performance, market trends, pricing, and lead times to support cost reduction and supply chain optimization.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, contracts, and long-term supplier agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Support inventory management, production planning, and project timelines through procurement coordination.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring continuity of supply for critical components.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain operations.
