Job summary

ABB E-mobility is seeking a Head of Public Charging for North America to own the commercial strategy, key customer relationships, and growth agenda across the U.S. and Canada.

The role requires leading strategic customer engagements and shaping go-to-market plans for ultra-high-power, high-power, and destination charging. You will report to the Global Head of Public Charging and build a high-performing commercial team, balancing hardware, software, energy management, and long-term service

Qualifications

• 12+ years of commercial leadership experience in B2B technology or EV charging sectors.
• Proven track record of scaling revenue to $100M+
• Experience leading enterprise key accounts and large infrastructure or technology programs

Responsibilities

• Own the North America commercial P&L for public charging segments.
• Define and execute the go-to-market strategy across direct and partner channels.
• Lead strategic relationships with top North American charge point operators.
• Match ABB's portfolio to customer use cases (hardware, software, energy management, services).
• Drive pricing governance, margin integrity, and TCO-based selling.
• Forecast, manage pipeline, and report on revenue, gross profit, and growth.
• Build and develop a high-performing commercial team.
• Shift execution from bespoke deals to scalable blueprint-based models.
• Strengthen the channel and partner ecosystem in North America.
• Represent ABB externally to customers, partners, and public agencies
