Job summary

Baringa is seeking an experienced Manager to join the Energy Products and Power Market Advisory team in the United States. You will lead North American power market modeling, develop data-driven market outlooks, and guide workstreams across scenario design, inputs, and results, while translating complex outputs into executive-ready recommendations.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in power market modeling or energy analytics, along with Python, SQL, Excel, and a proven ability to lead analytical

Qualifications

• Experience in North American power markets (ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, NYISO, CAISO) or similar.
• Experience leading analytical investigations, QA/QC reviews, and documentation.
• Ability to translate complex modeling outputs into client-ready presentations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain North American power market outlooks with data-driven insights.
• Lead power market modeling workstreams: scenario design, configuration, inputs, results, QA/QC.
• Define analytical approaches with leadership and translate client needs into workplans.
• Build and maintain modeling datasets, workflows, and automation to improve efficiency.
• Analyze market fundamentals, infrastructure developments, and policy impacts.
• Convert modeling outputs into clear client-ready presentations and reports.
• Present findings to clients, senior stakeholders, and internal leadership.
• Contribute to global Energy Products offerings and SaaS tools.
