Job summary

Baringa is seeking experienced Managers and Senior Managers for its Energy & Resources practice in the United States. You will tackle strategic, commercial, and transformational challenges across oil & gas, power, and energy trading, guiding client engagements from strategy through execution.

Qualifications

• Bring experience across midstream/downstream oil & gas, LNG/natural gas, power, energy trading, or energy infrastructure.
• Strategic issues in energy/natural resources with cross value chain expertise; oil & gas preferred.
• Strong management or strategy consulting background.
• Experience leading complex client engagements and solving ambiguous business problems.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and navigate complex challenges.
• Track record of developing people and supporting business development and market offerings.
• Interest in strategy, transactions, trading, finance and risk.

Responsibilities

• Corporate Strategy - portfolio strategy, business unit strategy, operating model and strategic planning
• Growth Strategy - market entry, new business development, organic growth and adjacency strategies
• Mergers & Acquisitions - strategic assessment, due diligence, transaction strategy and value creation
• Post-Merger Integration - integration strategy, operating model design, synergy identification and execution
• Commercial & Trading Strategy - commodity markets, trading organizations, commercial optimization and value-chain strategy
• Finance & Risk - financial performance, risk management, trading risk, capital allocation and related strategic finance topics
