Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead US and Canada payroll operations. You will ensure accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with HR, Finance, and vendors to deliver a seamless payroll experience.

The role requires 7+ years of payroll experience (3+ in leadership) and familiarity with US/Canada regulations. Experience with Dayforce HRIS is preferred. A bilingual capability is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree or professional certification required.
• Minimum 7 years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Post-secondary degree in accounting, finance, HR or related field preferred.
• Payroll Leadership Professional (PL) / CPP preferred.
• Experience with Dayforce HRIS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US and Canadian payroll regulations.
• Bilingual (English, French, Spanish) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle payroll processing for US and Canada.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA, CRA, and internal policies.
• Manage payroll schedules, approvals, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
• Supervise and coach payroll staff with training and feedback.
• Lead payroll system upgrades and audits.
