Job summary

Permasteelisa North America is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll for the US and Canada, using ADP and SuccessFactors. You will design and administer benefits programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a payroll team across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and external providers, and a strategic approach to optimize payroll operations and employee well-being initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Certified Payroll Professional or Payroll Compliance Practitioner preferred.
• 10+ years payroll and benefits administration experience in US/Canada.
• Strong knowledge of ADP, SuccessFactors and payroll tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee US & Canada payroll processing for 500+ employees including union and non-union groups.
• Lead payroll team, coach and develop staff.
• Liaise with insurance/benefit providers and manage vendor relationships.
• Coordinate all leave activity (FMLA, disability) and ensure compliance.
• Suggest and implement payroll system enhancements and internal controls.
• Manage enrollment events, benefit communications and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with Investment Advisory and Benefits Committees.
