Job summary

CTS Corporation in Chicago, IL, a leading designer and manufacturer of sensors, actuators, and electronic components, seeks an Operations Director, North America, to lead regional manufacturing, safety, quality, and cost performance. You will standardize processes, coach plant leaders, drive Lean, and deliver against budget, cash flow, and customer commitments across multiple sites, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of progressive manufacturing operations experience with leadership of complex plants.
• 5+ years in multi-site operations leadership across North America preferred.
• Experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, and capital planning.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the North America manufacturing operations network with standard work and performance expectations.
• Own regional performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and productivity.
• Coach plant leaders and build a strong succession pipeline and culture of accountability.
• Drive Lean deployment, visual management, and cost improvement across sites.
• Partner with functions to align operating plans with customer demand and business goals.
