Job summary
Electrolux Group is seeking a Senior Director of Industrial Manufacturing Engineering for North America. You will define and execute the regional manufacturing engineering strategy across product lifecycle and implement lean, automation, AI, and digital manufacturing to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
You will partner with factories, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, IT/OT, and procurement to accelerate standardized technologies and ways of working, with execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 12+ years of manufacturing engineering, automation, industrial engineering, or related experience.
- 5+ years leading regional or multi-site operations.
- Proven leadership of large technical teams and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
- Experience delivering industrialization, automation, digital manufacturing, and capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Own the North America Manufacturing Engineering strategy, operating model, governance, and capability roadmap across all sites.
- Lead product industrialization, including DFM/DFMA, process architecture, and launch readiness.
- Direct production system, line, cell, and facility design to optimize safety, quality, and cost.
- Establish and validate manufacturing performance targets (OEE, throughput, yields).
- Lead equipment, tooling, automation, and supplier selection with cost ownership analysis.
- Develop and execute smart manufacturing roadmap (MES, SCADA, IIoT, robotics).
- Drive material flow optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Own regional capital investment planning and project governance.
