Job summary

SCOR Group is seeking a senior underwriting professional to manage portfolios for large corporate clients from our Houston hub. You will leverage strong market relationships and our underwriting framework to drive profitable growth while contributing to cross-LOB collaboration.

With an engineering or analytical background, you will apply technical reinsurance knowledge to assess risk, price contracts, and mentor regional underwriters. This role supports a hybrid in-office and remote schedule.

Qualifications

• An Engineering or analytical degree preferred; other equivalent experience accepted.
• Strong underwriting experience across the market.
• High technical acumen of reinsurance and insurance principals.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage portfolios of accounts with strong market relationships.
• Develop guidelines to support underwriting business plans.
• Contribute to portfolio growth and diversification.
• Support submission pipeline and marketing aligned to strategy.
• Build and maintain client and broker relationships.
• Ensure data quality and reporting to IT systems.
