Job summary

Barings seeks an exceptional leader to head its North American Insurance Solutions business. You will guide strategic client engagements, design bespoke solutions, and drive growth across the US, Bermuda and Canada, influencing investment strategy and capital efficiency for insurers.

You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor colleagues, and represent Barings externally as a thought leader in insurance investing and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience within insurance asset management, insurance consulting, investing, investment banking or actuarial leadership.
• Deep understanding of insurance balance sheets, capital frameworks and investment strategies.
• Strong knowledge of NAIC, RBC and broader insurance regulatory considerations.
• Proven ability to influence across complex organisations and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic client engagement with insurers across US, Bermuda and Canada.
• Deliver bespoke insurance solutions leveraging Barings' investment platform.
• Build trusted relationships with senior insurance decision-makers.
• Expand Barings' North American insurance asset management business.
• Mentor colleagues and drive thought leadership in insurance investing.
