Barings is seeking a seasoned leader to head North American Insurance Solutions. You will guide strategic client engagements and collaborate with insurers across the US, Bermuda, and Canada to design portfolio solutions that meet regulatory and capital objectives.

You will influence across large organisations and lead cross-functional teams while shaping investment strategy for the broader Barings insurance platform.

Qualifications

• You are a strategic thinker, relationship builder and commercial leader with a passion for helping insurers solve complex investment challenges.
• Deep understanding of insurance balance sheets, capital frameworks and investment strategies.
• Strong knowledge of NAIC, RBC and broader insurance regulatory considerations.
• Demonstrated success delivering innovative solutions and building trusted relationships with senior insurance decision-makers.
• A proven ability to influence across complex organisations and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Client Engagement across North America.
• Partner with insurers to develop tailored investment and portfolio solutions.
• Serve as trusted advisor on capital management, portfolio construction, and regulatory considerations.
• Work with Barings Client Group to deepen relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Deliver Bespoke Insurance Solutions leveraging Barings' investment platform across markets.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and structuring teams to solve client challenges.
• Drive franchise growth in North American insurance asset management.
