Job summary

LG&P is seeking an innovation engineer to own the hands-on build process for physical retail and built environments. You will turn concepts into working prototypes, working directly with clients and the Senior Director of Innovation on live programs.

You will influence how projects are approached and how the capability grows across the region. The role emphasizes experimentation, rapid prototyping, and close collaboration with client teams to deliver tangible, installed solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience turning ambiguous concepts into working prototypes.
• Experience with electronics, sensors, microcontrollers, 3D printing, fabrication, and firmware/scripting.
• Ability to work directly with clients and present credible, tangible results.

Responsibilities

• Take concepts from direction to working prototypes independently.
• Design and build fixtures, displays, and environments for retail use and installation.
• Own prototype-to-deployment journey from concept to shipped or installed product.
• Bring practical, innovative approaches to retail challenges and client problems.
• Represent the innovation function credibly in client sessions, even without the Senior Director present.
• Lead problem identification and exploration to establish the brief and work across time zones.
