Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Customs Regional Head for North America to lead the NA customs organization, interface with Global Customs Headquarters, and implement a data‑driven, compliant NA customs strategy across the U.S. and Canada.

You will oversee people leadership, budgeting, and capability building while ensuring processes are robust, transparent, and scalable in a global, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in customs, law, economics, business administration, or comparable field.
• Licensed U.S. Customs Broker qualification.
• Deep expertise in customs operations and compliance within international environments.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into effective processes and IT solutions.
• Proven leadership across cross‑cultural teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the North America customs organization across multiple locations.
• Translate strategic objectives into regional guidance, governance, and processes.
• Drive standardized, system‑enabled customs processes with automation and data quality focus.
• Collaborate with global customs, IT, and business units to align with standards.
• Act as a sparring partner for business areas while ensuring compliance.
• Continuously challenge setups to improve efficiency and resilience.
