Job summary
On is seeking a Senior Lead, Americas Regional Customs to drive compliant, scalable customs execution across the Americas. You will connect the Global Customs & Trade team with regional stakeholders in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil while governing operations and duty-saving programs.
You will lead the governance of new markets and complex flows, monitor KPIs and savings, and collaborate with Finance, Legal and Logistics to embed customs requirements into business decisions.
Qualifications
- Active U.S. Customs Broker License required.
- 10+ years in customs, trade compliance, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian customs; exposure to Mexico and/or Brazil.
- Experience governing programs like CTPAT, FTZ, Duty Drawback, First Sale for Export.
- Proven ability to lead with brokers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own regional implementation of global customs policies across the Americas.
- Oversee customs activities by brokers and partners ensuring compliance and performance.
- Identify and implement customs value-creation programs like Duty Drawback and FTZs.
- Lead design and governance for new markets, models, and complex flows.
- Monitor risks, broker performance, KPIs and realized savings; drive root-cause improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, Logistics, Operations and leadership.
