Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Head of Finance for North America to provide strategic leadership and oversee regional financial activities. You will partner with regional leadership, drive financial strategy, and ensure robust controls and reporting aligned with global objectives.

Role requires 8–10+ years in finance, strong US GAAP expertise, ERP/SAP experience, and a hands-on leadership style to manage the North America Finance department and support regional growth.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of finance management experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing multi-functional teams.
• Deep proficiency in US GAAP, management accounting, and tax accounting.
• Experience implementing and managing ERP systems; SAP preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and financial modeling.
• Hands-on leader who balances strategy with execution.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; CPA/CMA/MBA desirable.
• Ability to influence a matrixed global organization.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Team Management: Co-Managing Director for Heliox Technology Inc., leading governance.
• Functional Oversight: Lead North America Finance department and support regional expansion.
• Strategic Partnership: Provide data-driven insights, financial modeling, and analysis for executives.
• Talent Development: Develop finance team performance and maintain accountability.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee AR/AP, payroll, project cost accounting, and general ledger.
• Systems Optimization: Improve SAP and reporting systems for scalable infrastructure.
• Internal Controls: Maintain financial policies to protect assets and data integrity.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual statements per US GAAP.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure statutory/tax/regulatory compliance; SOX/SEC experience valued.
• Treasury & Working Capital: Manage cash flow, working capital, collections, payments.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and quarterly variance analysis.
