Job summary

Wise in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Banking Partnerships Manager to join the North America Banking & Expansion team. You will deepen our payment infrastructure, manage bank and payment partner relationships, and navigate regulatory requirements to expand Wise’s US and Canada footprint.

You will work with Product, Engineering, Compliance and Legal to align strategy with banking partners, lead negotiations, and drive initiatives that improve cross-border payments, speed, and reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Accounting, Economics or Business Management.
• 7+ years of experience with payments, banking or fintech.
• Independent generalist with strong execution and cross-functional collaboration.
• Deep knowledge of North American payment systems and regulatory landscape.
• Ability to negotiate terms and manage external relationships with banks and regulators.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Passion for financial technology and building cross-border payments capabilities.
