Job summary

Harkins Theatres is seeking an Assistant Manager to support Senior and General Managers with the theatre's daily operations and supervise team members and team leaders.

The role focuses on guest services, policy adherence, inventory handling, and ensuring film presentation standards are met. Candidates should have 1+ year of management experience, theatre experience a plus, and strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of management experience.
• Movie theatre experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bilingual, Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees guest services to ensure that all guests receive the best movie going experience.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures and ensures team members do the same.
• Assists with inventory and deliveries.
• Inspects delivery contents and takes action to correct any errors or damages.
• Upholds the company's standards for film presentation including projection procedures, ordering parts and arranging repairs as needed.

Harkins Theatres is looking for an Assistant Manager . The Assistant Manager assists Senior and General Managers with the overall operations of the theatre, as well as performs the day-to-day functions of assigned department while supervising team members (TM) and team leaders (TL).

Additional responsibilities include:

• Oversees guest services to ensure that all guests receive the best movie going experience
• Responsible for understanding and adhering to all company policies/procedures and ensures that TMs and TLs do the same
• Assists with inventory and deliveries
• Inspects all delivery contents and takes immediate action to correct any errors or damages
• Upholds the company's standards for film presentation including: following projection operating procedures, ordering parts and supplies, and arranging for necessary repairs in a timely fashion

Requirements:

• 1+ year of management experience preferred
• Movie theatre experience, a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Able to lift up to 50 pound boxes/items from the floor/shelf
• Good written and verbal English Language skills. Bilingual, Spanish a plus
