Job summary

Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska is seeking a Nordic Spa Housekeeping Manager to lead the Spa Attendant department and maintain the Nordic spa facilities to the highest cleanliness and safety standards.

You will work closely with the General Manager and Maintenance Manager, manage budgets, staff scheduling, and vendor partnerships while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a year-round, full-time role.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a senior housekeeping leadership role.
• Experience in hotel, hospitality, or aquatic industries preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
• Proficient in Windows, PMS and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Spa Housekeeping Team to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Maintenance Manager to improve cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Direct cleaning operations across all spa areas including change rooms, lobby, massage pavilion, pools and facilities.
• Maintain a visible presence in daily operations to support guest impressions.
• Develop and manage the department budget with the GM and accounting team.
• Oversee performance reviews, scheduling, payroll, forecasting and inventory management.
• Ensure productivity goals are met while maintaining cost and labor efficiency.
• Recruit, train and mentor staff to meet quality, service and productivity standards.
• Provide coaching and development for team members.
