Job summary

Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska is seeking a Nordic Spa Housekeeping Manager to lead the Spa Housekeeping team and uphold the highest cleanliness standards across the Nordic Spa facilities and pool deck. You will partner with the General Manager and Maintenance Manager to optimize cleanliness, safety, and budget performance while mentoring staff and ensuring exceptional guest experiences year-round.

This full-time, year-round role requires flexibility for varied shifts and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a senior housekeeping leadership role.
• Experience in hotel, hospitality, or aquatic industry preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player and self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to train, coach and develop associates.
• Proficient in Windows, PMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Spa Housekeeping Team to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve cleanliness and maintenance standards with GM and Maintenance Manager.
• Direct cleaning operations to maintain sanitation across spa areas.
• Manage department budget in coordination with GM and accounting team.
• Oversee performance reviews, scheduling, payroll, forecasting, and inventory.
• Recruit, train and mentor staff to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Address guest issues with problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ensure safety protocols and compliance with quality standards.
