Job summary

Verto People is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to cover Northern California. The role focuses on growing an established territory by developing relationships with mechanical and industrial contractors, distributors, and end users, while driving new business opportunities through project specifications and channel partnerships.

Ideal candidates have experience selling valves, flow control products, or engineered industrial solutions into contractor-driven markets.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience in Northern California.
• Experience selling valves, flow control products, or industrial equipment.
• Background selling into contractor-led markets: mechanical/industrial contractors, distributors, engineering firms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing Northern California sales territory.
• Develop relationships with mechanical/industrial contractors, distributors, engineering firms, and end users.
• Drive new business via project specification, contractor relationships, and account development.
• Sell a range of flow control products including isolation valves, butterfly valves, control valves, globe valves; pumps and rotating equipment noted as plus.
• Build relationships with contractors and channel partners to increase market share.
• Collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams to provide technical solutions and support.
• Travel throughout Northern California is required.
