Job summary

Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is a national leader in outsourced nonprofit accounting. We seek an Accountant to maintain general ledger integrity, process monthly closes, and support AP/AR with a collaborative team. This role offers a hybrid schedule, partial-time flexibility, and professional development opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and a working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• 1–3 years accounting experience preferred; internships or public accounting exposure considered.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, basic formulas).

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and expense management processes.
• Process invoices using Bill.com and QuickBooks Online; manage AP inbox and vendor setup.
• Assist with monthly close and general ledger integrity.
• Support accounts receivable and billing activities; assist with cash application and collections.
• Support payroll processes and period-end reporting.
• Contribute to system improvements and process automation initiatives.
