Job summary

Virtuous is seeking a Solutions Consultant to join the Professional Services team, helping nonprofits solve fundraising, operational, and system challenges with hands-on Virtuous experience.

You will lead consulting engagements, design donor engagement journeys, and advise on automation and integration with other platforms, delivering training and documentation for ongoing customer success.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of nonprofit fundraising operations experience.
• Hands-on experience administering or consulting in nonprofit CRM, fundraising, or marketing automation.
• Consultative problem-solving experience translating customer needs into practical system and process solutions.
• Experience delivering technical or process training to customers with varying technical knowledge.
• Comfort with data, spreadsheets, queries, reporting tools, and BI concepts.
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple billable customer engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Virtuous expert, with understanding of Virtuous products and ability to communicate complex functionality.
• Lead consulting sessions to understand goals, evaluate processes, identify challenges, and propose solutions.
• Translate nonprofit fundraising goals into scalable Virtuous solutions across the platform.
• Advise on automation, segmentation, and personalization to strengthen donor retention and lifetime value.
• Design end-to-end donor engagement journeys with digital channels, automation, and insights.
• Assess customer system landscapes and how Virtuous connects with other platforms.
• Design and configure customer solutions, including automations, reports, forms, and templates.
• Deliver advanced, role-based training and create guides and customer resources.
• Manage Professional Services engagements including scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Document successful solutions and best practices for future use.
• Identify recurring needs and propose improvements or new offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer outcomes.
