The candidate will manage logistics, vendor relations, budgets, and communications, acting as the main point of contact for venues and speakers, while collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure successful program delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years in event coordination or nonprofit operations.
  • Experience planning in-person and virtual events.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing budgets, invoices, and event finances.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms; CRM/registration systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel and support occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute patient symposia, webinars, and educational programs from planning through completion.
  • Manage event logistics, including registration, vendors, budgets, communications, and onsite support.
  • Serve as the primary contact for venues, vendors, speakers, partners, and participants.
  • Support educational initiatives, volunteer programs, SunAWARE, and community outreach efforts.
  • Maintain program documentation, tracking systems, educational resources, and event records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery.
