Job summary

Trees Atlanta is seeking a Marketing & Development Coordinator to join our Administration team in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on promoting our programs and events while supporting fundraising and donor communications.

You will report to the Marketing Manager and collaborate with the Development team to update donor information, run campaigns, and manage data in our CRM and DAM systems. Proficiency with MailChimp, Canva, Salesforce, Excel, and Google tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to write clearly and persuasively for donor communications and campaigns.
• Experience using MailChimp or similar email platforms for audience segmentation and targeting.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar donor CRM and basic data management.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for budgeting, lists, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Help create short- and long-term marketing and development plans, including media, promotions, and appeal schedules.
• Publish education and community events to online calendars and external event listings; produce promotional images and event descriptions.
• Collect and organize donor and volunteer assets in a digital asset management system.
• Create Mailchimp emails for donor appeals and develop targeted mailing lists from donor data.
• Support fundraising campaigns and events, including Root Ball planning and guest data management.
