Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis is seeking an IT Operations Manager to lead day-to-day technology efforts in a hands-on role within a mid-sized nonprofit. You will supervise IT staff, manage vendor relationships, and align technology with the organization’s mission.

The role requires 5+ years in IT with leadership experience, strong Microsoft 365 and CRM skills, and a focus on security and operational excellence. This is a full-time, on-site position in Memphis, TN.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience including systems administration, technical support, or infrastructure.
• 3+ years of leadership, supervision, or management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 environments and identity management.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and wireless tech.
• Experience managing IT assets and vendor relationships.
• Ability to develop IT procedures and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the organization’s application portfolio (Salesforce, Egnyte, BytePro, GoFundMe Pro, VolunteerHub, Classy, HFHGM POS).
• Represent HFHGM with professionalism to advance the mission.
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations and service delivery.
• Establish IT processes, service standards, documentation, and escalation protocols.
• Manage user support, systems administration, hardware/software, networks, and assets.
• Maintain cybersecurity, data protection, backups, access controls, and business continuity.
• Lead evaluation, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of technology systems.
• Supervise IT staff and coordinate external vendors/service providers.
• Partner with leaders to identify needs, prioritize projects, and propose solutions.
• Provide hands-on support for escalated/complex issues.
• Coordinate cybersecurity awareness and training for employees.
• Support compliance with privacy and data-security requirements.
• Monitor vendor performance and technology-related expenses.
• Internal coordination for outsourced IT services and escalated issues.
