Job summary

Community Health of Central Washington (CHCW) seeks a strategic Controller to lead the accounting and financial teams. This role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, payroll, accounts payable, grant accounting, and regulatory compliance to ensure integrity and sustainability.

Ideal candidates have GAAP expertise, nonprofit/FQHC accounting experience, and strong leadership. A CPA and Master’s degree are preferred, with a track record in audits, tax compliance, and process

Qualifications

• Leadership and strategic financial oversight.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting.
• Experience with grants accounting and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to drive process improvements and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and accounting systems.
• Lead budgeting, internal controls, and payroll.
