Job summary

Community Care Network is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The role reports to the CFO and supports strategic planning through analysis and forecasting.

Responsibilities include budgeting, audits, grants administration, and building strong internal controls. CPA preferred; 7+ years in nonprofit/healthcare accounting with 3+ years supervising staff are desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including nonprofit or healthcare sector.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience leading accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, grant accounting, and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and financial modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, payables/receivables, and grant accounting.
• Oversee monthly close, financial statements, and board reports.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting, including capital and program budgets.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and investment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal/state regulations, including Medicaid Waiver.
