Job summary

Play for P.I.N.K. is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to breast cancer research funding through events and donations. The Associate, Fundraising Operations reports to the Managing Director and handles financial reporting, donor data, and event fundraising administration from our New York base.

Based onsite in New York, NY, this role collaborates with the events team, accountant/treasurer, and CRM staff to ensure accurate revenue tracking and timely reporting for annual fundraising events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a financial, operations or administrative role supporting a non-profit.
• Non-profit environment experience preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Suite.
• Experience with QuickBooks is a must.
• Experience using Raiser’s Edge is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong project management and collaboration across teams.
• Passionate about the mission of breast cancer nonprofit sector.

Responsibilities

• Confirm daily deposits with club treasurers or chairs for events.
• Label daily deposits in online banking and credit payments.
• Process credit card transactions as needed.
• Deposit funds and manage wires and donor payments.
• Coordinate with bookkeeper to process invoices via BillPay.
• Process refunds and reimbursements when required.
• Review QuickBooks daily to match donations to events.
• Review event wrap-up and reporting; ensure gifts are recorded in CRM.
• Serve as Donor Advised Funds (DAF) liaison and respond to inquiries.
• Support annual audit preparations and documentation.
