Job summary

The Arc of Cape May County is seeking a Director of Development and Marketing to lead fundraising, grant management and external communications. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape and execute the development and marketing plan, build relationships with donors, partners and community stakeholders, and oversee messaging across channels.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in non-profit fundraising/marketing, with a proven ability to drive strategies and collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; minimum of 5 years with a non-profit (preferably developmental disabilities).
• Collaborative communicator with strong written and oral skills.
• Proven ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Energetic, mature leadership; capable of strategic and tactical communications.
• Strong marketing background including advocacy, media relations, and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate the annual development and marketing plan.
• Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to broaden programmatic reach.
• Develop core messages for organizational consistency.
• Liaise with the website, PR firm, Facebook page, and social media accounts.
• Maintain timely communication to stakeholders regarding program, administrative, and community issues.
