Job summary

Community Legal Services (CLS) seeks a Development and Communications Associate to support the development team, manage grants, and coordinate donor communications. The role provides exposure to fundraising and communications in a collaborative nonprofit setting.

Hybrid position in Phoenix, with opportunities to grow in grant administration, events, and donor relations while supporting survivors of domestic violence and other clients served by CLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in development, philanthropy or related field; continuing education preferred.
• 2–3 years of administrative experience with grant writing, grants management, reporting, events and database duties.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fundraising software; familiarity with donor databases.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Development and Communications and the development team.
• Assist with grant writing, reporting and compliance activities.
• Coordinate donor events and manage the donor database and communications.
• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth department operations.
