Job summary

Scion Staffing, Inc. has been engaged to conduct a search for a Nonprofit Bookkeeper for a mission-driven human services nonprofit in Meriden, CT. This part-time, temp-to-hire role is onsite initially with potential to transition to a hybrid schedule.

You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping with payroll focus, accounts payable, and grant-funded expense allocation across programs. You’ll work with an outsourced CFO team and adapt to shifting priorities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on nonprofit bookkeeping experience with restricted funding.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online; payroll processing.
• ADP experience preferred; strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll and maintain payroll records using ADP.
• Maintain bookkeeping records in QuickBooks Online.
• Manage accounts payable and vendor invoices.
• Code and allocate expenses by grant, program, or class.
• Collaborate with outsourced CFO and internal leadership.
