Job summary

CapinCrouse, now part of CRI, invites you to join our Spring 2027 Audit Intern program. You will perform substantive auditing procedures in assigned areas, obtain understanding of the work, and prepare working papers documenting tests.

The role requires at least two years of university education, actively pursuing an accounting degree, and strong communication. You will work independently and as part of a team, with exposure to Microsoft Office and confidential information handling.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of university education completed by the time of starting the internship.
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform substantive auditing procedures in assigned areas.
• Obtain an understanding of the work to be performed and the purpose of the work.
• Prepare working papers which document the tests performed and procedures followed to substantiate conclusions.
• Be alert to the proper and consistent application of accounting principles in performing audit procedures.
• Identify and document control deficiencies or other matters that warrant the attention of management.
