Job summary

CapinCrouse, now part of CRI, offers a Summer 2027 Single Audit Intern opportunity. The internship supports nonprofit clients with audits and assurance work while fostering CPA development and professional growth within a collaborative firm culture.

Interns will participate on audit teams, gain hands-on experience, and build skills in financial integrity and security, with access to comprehensive benefits and opportunities across CRI.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of university education completed by the time of starting the internship.
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
• High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to clients as a productive member of assigned audit teams.
• Actively participate in office events and initiatives as a productive team member of the practice office.
• Actively pursue professional development with an initial focus on CPA certification.
• Actively develop auditing knowledge and skills to handle increasingly complex audit and other assurance responsibilities.
• Display integrity and professional behavior consistent with CapinCrouse’s focus, vision, mission and core values.
