Interns perform substantive audit procedures, document testing, and assist in ensuring proper application of accounting principles. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with MS Office proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform substantive auditing procedures in assigned areas.
• Obtain an understanding of the work to be performed and the purpose of the work.
• Prepare working papers documenting tests and procedures.
• Ensure proper and consistent application of accounting principles during audits.
• Identify and document control deficiencies or matters needing management attention.
