Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP is seeking an Audit Director or Manager to join the Northeast Nonprofit team. This in-office role can be based in Pittsburgh, PA, West Hartford, CT, or Shelton, CT and involves leading nonprofit engagements for CLA’s clients.

You will plan, supervise, and execute assurance engagements, lead teams, and collaborate with Principals to deliver high-quality results while developing staff and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for Accounting/Finance role.
• CPA license required for eligibility and advancement.
• Strong leadership and team-development capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues and present practical solutions.
• Experience leading nonprofit assurance engagements preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality client service.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control all phases of nonprofit assurance engagements.
• Lead assignments and staffing decisions, coordinating with Principals.
• Develop and coach staff; provide direct consultation and performance feedback.
• Oversee engagement letters, fees, and client communications to ensure timely sign-off.
