Job summary

Aprio's client, a synagogue, seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations and report to the Executive Director. You will manage the books, GL close processes, and ensure accurate modified cash-basis records.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting and nonprofit accounting experience, plus strong communication and community engagement. Salary range is $105-$120k depending on skill set.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Several years of nonprofit or organizational accounting experience.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to engage in community events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations for the organization.
• Manage the books and GL close processes using QuickBooks IES and Salesforce.
• Oversee payroll processing through ADP.
• Maintain modified cash basis accounting records.
• Supervise AP and AR team members.
