Job summary

Jitasa, the first and largest international accounting and bookkeeping provider dedicated to nonprofits, is hiring an Accounting Representative. This role centers on communicating the month-end close and financial results to nonprofit clients, with client calls and team communication taking at least half of the time.

You will lead the accounting process for your portfolio, coordinate with US and international teammates, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting, while delivering a superior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience coordinating the month-end close.
• Ability to communicate financial information to stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the accounting process for your nonprofit clients.
• Coordinate workflow with US and international team members.
• Communicate expectations and project status with clients and internal teams.
• Guide best practice policies, procedures, and processes throughout the accounting cycle.
• Ensure that all client processes and procedures are documented and maintained.
• Review and analyze financial data and reports; provide superior customer experience.
