Job summary

Cedarstone is seeking a full-time Nonprofit Accountant to join our Financial Operations team. The role involves day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of nonprofit clients, ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations.

You will collaborate with clients to deliver timely financial packages, support audits, and provide actionable guidance to leadership. The position offers remote, hybrid, or in-person options and a 40-hour work week during business hours.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and sound accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger maintenance and month-end closings.
• Perform monthly/quarterly/annual closings and reconciliations.
• Handle AP/AR reconciliations and timely financial reporting.
• Produce board-level financial packages and reports.
• Support annual audits and Form 990 filings.
• Assist with client onboarding and financial guidance.
