Job summary

Cedarstone is seeking a full-time Nonprofit Accountant to join our Financial Operations team. This hands-on role manages GL maintenance, closings, AP/AR reconciliations, and financial packages for nonprofit clients while supporting audits and Form 990 filings.

Position offers remote, hybrid, or in-person options, with a 40-hour week. Requires GAAP knowledge, advanced spreadsheets, and strong relationship-building.

Qualifications

• Must have solid GAAP knowledge and nonprofit accounting exposure.
• Proficient with advanced spreadsheet functions and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and perform monthly/quarterly closings.
• Execute AP/AR reconciliations and prepare financial packages.
• Produce board-level reporting and assist with audits and Form 990 filings.
• Support client onboarding and provide actionable financial guidance.
