Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is seeking an Accountant to serve nonprofit organizations across the Pacific Northwest, with work both virtually and on-site in Seattle. The role offers promotion potential to a Controller level within a growing practice and a 35-hour full-time week in a hybrid environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of accounting experience (public, client service, or outsourced), strong nonprofit interest, solid Excel skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years accounting experience in public accounting, client service, or outsourced accounting.
• Strong interest in supporting nonprofit organizations and their missions.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; QuickBooks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monthly financials and related analysis.
• Grant tracking and monitoring.
• Cash flow projections and monitoring.
• Preparation for outside audits.
